gentle guilt

I’ve been reminiscing on some of my past mistakes
don’t know how to stop the spinning in my head
then you pull up with your limo tint and exempt plates
and I forget all my sorrows as you slip into my bed

now feelings are fleeing in every direction how did we ever develop such a connection?
I’m helpless and hopeless, but don’t want to give you up
is it a crime for me to finally end up in love?
